William
Swan, Executive Vice-President, CRC Co-Founder Bill's
forty years of container design experience started at the Philadelphia Naval Aircraft
Factory where he began working on vibration and energy absorption for aircraft
catapult and arresting gear. For CRC's first project in 1956, Bill designed the
first aluminum rotor blade container, and developed test data utilizing combinations
of "dunnage" and Elastometric type suspensions. This system has been
used successfully for many years based on the vibration and energy absorption
criteria. Over the years he used his experience to build containers for many uses
including shipping and long-term storage of ammunition, missile components, electronics
and satellites. Bill earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University
in Philadelphia and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania. Frederick
C. (Chris) Leiser III, Chief Engineer
Chris joined
CRC in 1986. Promoted to Chief Engineer in 1990, he leads the development of projects
from conceptual design to finished product. Chris represents CRC in projects with
the U.S. Navy. He trained Navy personnel in both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets
in using our containers in their repair cycle. He provided input on the design
and fabrication of the Navy (NAVICP) multi-unit container (MUC). Chris leads our
projects for the V-22 program, F-414 Engine program and the Satellite Container
program. Chris graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Physics-Engineering. Our
facility and key personnel have served many critical programs including
Secret defense projects. Back
